SPITTING ? OR PULSATING ?

EXPLANATION WILL BE POSTED
HERE IN 4 DAYS
Spitting is when there is a complete void of material in the spray pattern as if you had released the trigger from the material stroke position to the air only position leaving a void in the applied material spray pattern. THAT RENDERS the GUN NON-WORKABLE
PULSATING is just a slight version of spitting except the material stream never really stops - there is just a lot less materiel being delivered to the target at a given time. PULSATING CAN BE VERY FRUSTRATING - BECAUSE IT CAN BE VERY SUBTLE & CAN LEAVE YOU SCRATCHING YOUR HEAD AND THINKING YOU'VE SUDDENLY LOST YOUR SPRAY TECHNIQUE. On a straight color you might get by - BUT THE METALLICS, MICA & THE TRANSPARENT COLORS WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS.
Both of these conditions are caused by the same thing - AIR GETTING INTO THE FLUID STREAM
On the spitting its usually a non seated fluid tip and on an occasion it my be the needle seal & wipe.
The pulsating is usually the needle seal & wipe.
