AIR PRESSURE SETTING

Postby Lloyd Oliver » Thu Mar 07, 2013 5:11 am

Hub I noticed on a lot of posts you recommend setting the inlet pressure with the gun set wide open and the trigger in the full back position and with air flowing through the gun could I ask why and is this your recommendation for all guns?

Some spray guns have an integated air valve/ material control valve - therefore unless air is flowing through the gun with the trigger in the full back position you will get an inaccurate air pressure reading and starving the gun for an ample air supply. Guns with a nonintegrated valve would not be as affected - but, just to be safe I treat all guns the same.
